china….er… i mean, new york

Joe’s Shanghai auto-reblog.

At this location, people are grouped together at the banquet tables. I went with John and a group of young professionals were seated with us. It was very upsetting to them. Our decision to go off-menu and ask for a tofu dish friends had recommended was a mystery to them. The XLB we ordered was startling to them. In conclusion, John and I had a great, delicious time and I re-learned that New Yorkers, as much as they deny it, are just humans.
